These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the NutriLens mobile application, website, and related services. By downloading or using NutriLens you agree to these Terms.

1. Educational Purpose

NutriLens provides nutrition, calorie, meal tracking, fitness, and educational wellness information only. NutriLens is not intended to replace professional medical, dietetic, or healthcare advice.

2. Medical Disclaimer

NutriLens is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Food recognition, nutrition estimates, AI-generated responses, meal recommendations, and workout suggestions may not always be accurate. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making major medical, nutrition, or exercise decisions. If you experience chest pain, difficulty breathing, loss of consciousness, or another medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

3. AI Services

NutriLens uses artificial intelligence to analyze food images and answer nutrition and fitness questions. AI responses are automatically generated and may occasionally contain mistakes or incomplete information. Users should independently verify important health information.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree that you will not:

  • Use NutriLens for illegal purposes.
  • Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or interfere with the application.
  • Upload unlawful, offensive, or harmful content.
  • Use NutriLens in a way that harms other users.

5. Local Profile

NutriLens currently stores user profile information, meal history, and nutrition data locally on the user's device. NutriLens does not currently require an online account to use the application.

6. Premium Subscription

Certain premium features may require an active subscription.

  • 7-Day Free Trial (when available)
  • $4.99 USD per month
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled.
  • Subscriptions may be managed through your Apple ID Subscription Settings.
  • Refunds are handled according to Apple's App Store policies.

7. Availability

NutriLens may add, remove, or modify features at any time without prior notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or permanent availability of every feature.

8. Intellectual Property

NutriLens, NutriLens Health, logos, design, graphics, software, text, and related content remain the intellectual property of NutriLens Health unless otherwise stated. Unauthorized copying, redistribution, or commercial use is prohibited.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NutriLens Health shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the application.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to NutriLens if these Terms are violated or if misuse of the service is detected.
